Herbal Intake Contrandication (Drug Interaction)
Many herbal remedies may adversely interact with
prescription and over the counter drugs. Always ask your doctor about using herbal remedies
while you are taking prescription medications.
For example, certain herbs may increase or decrease the dynamics of blood thinners, i.e. Coumadin (Warfarin)
Herbs may also exacerbate stomach upset or even ulcerations of NSAID's (non-steroid anti-inflammatory

of wheat, barley, rye, or oats), to which those with Celiac Sprue are allergic.
