ELVIS' GRACELAND MANSION

Thousands of tourists visit Elvis' home every month.
In New York, the Broadway Musical, "Million Dollar Quartet"
showcases a Sun Records tribute to Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins & Jerry Lee Lewis. The Musical won a Globe award and plays to SRO crowds nightly.

Like Sinatra before him, Elvis Presley, still the one and only King of Rock & Roll from the sixties to the present, will always be renowned and remembered as the King of Rock & Roll, the other "King of..." crowns just never made an equal or compared to the fan loyalty and admiration of the true King.

As Ed Sullivan once said on live network television about Elvis, "I want you all to know this is a fine, fine boy." Ed's competitor, Steve Allen. stated (conceded), "I may not like Rock & Roll, but Elvis Presley's audience grabbing performance and personna is hard to beat." Which is why he'd be doggoned to let Sullivan keep demolishing him in the ratings...so he bugged the powers that be at NBC to come up with the money, honey to lure Col. Tom, Elvis' manager, to allow The King to appear on his show, which should have been easier since NBC and Elvis' label, RCA Victor, were then owned by the same parent company.

We at Oldies Television maintain firmly, "Elvis Presley is the true King of Rock & Roll now and forever." Yes, we stand firm on that over the Fab Four, Michael Jackson and Usher ...and we know we'll get some hate mail for that statement, but that's the way we see it. Pax.

TELL THE WORLD WIDE WEB ELVIS IS THE TRUE
KING OF ROCK & ROLL!
